If you go down to Hilcote you may be in for a big surprise!

We Brought the paint to Hilcote!

Greater Creative have worked alongside the talented Leicester spray art organisation  Graffwerk to bring large scale paintings to various areas of the parish and this one was all about sprucing up Hilcote’s storage container on The Royal Oak Meadow And Woodland. We worked with closely with the local H.E.L.P group (Hilcote Environmental and Leisure Project) who put forward their ideas for the container. Then Graffwerk created some mock up designs for their ideas for the community to vote on!

. . .  The villages most famous resident (the barn owl) won and it got the main stage on the final design!

Now the container has been created into something spectacular for the people that regularly use the space (and also to make it a bit of a destination for other people to come and visit too!).
